What's free, exactly? +
A seven-day trial of the full platform with no card, then one device and one profile free forever. Enough to keep a single kiosk running for nothing; add a plan when you have a fleet.
What counts as a device? +
An enrolled Android device that has checked in during the billing month. Retired or wiped devices stop counting the day they stop reporting.
Do you charge a platform or admin fee? +
No. Per active device, per Monitor user — that's the whole bill. Admin seats are unlimited on every plan.
Can we really run it on our own servers? +
Yes — the Enterprise plan includes a self-hosted deployment of the same stack we run. Your devices talk only to infrastructure you control.
What happens if we cancel? +
Your devices keep working; management stops. You can export your fleet data first, and unenrol devices cleanly from the console before you go.
How does Monitor early-access pricing work? +
Early-access teams pay the listed seat price and keep it for life, including through general availability. It's our thank-you for shaping the product.
Do you need our Google account or EMM registration? +
No. DeviceDesk uses Android's device-owner architecture directly — no Google EMM registration, no managed Play requirement, and it works on tablets without Play Services.
